Oily & Combination Skin

I received this SILYMARIN CF vitamin C serum from Skin Ceuticals community to test and review.  This is actually my first time trying this product and so far I am really happy with the results I have achieved with this product. As I have oily, blemish-prone skin this product has really helped my skin to look more alive and less oily.  How to apply:  Apply this serum in the morning after cleansed, you literally need 4-5 drops of this product onto the palm of your hands. I use my fingertips and dab all over my dry face.  As this product contains Acid try avoid using this product if you have any kind of cuts on your hands as this can burn your hand and feel very irritated and painful.  I love how this product has a piplet with it as it’s really easy to take as much product out as you want.  Overall, this product has definitely helped my skin look and feel amazing. Definitely recommend this product.

I have used this product in 2022 when I was diagnosed with mild acne, it worked fantastic and I was obsessed with the product but after months and months of using things got hard and the price of this product got too much so I switched to another vitamin c however my skin was skinning so clear no more blemishes the odd ones but nothing out of the ordinary raved about this product that thought I m free of acne so was okay to try another cheaper version same formulas , moving to now 2023 I have flared up with acne but even more than before to the point the doctors wanted to put me on acutane medication but I personally didn’t quite want to give that harsh drug a go yet. I have been using Silymarin again since seeing a specialist in skincueticals but it’s yet to have the affect I hoped for. This is my honest review I haven’t seen my blemish fade nor my scaring however I have seen my skin look glowing and fresh but that’s just my skin type and may just need more than 2 weeks which I’m okay with trying it for longer as I know it worked in 2022. The consistency and the texture of this product is the best and can’t compare it with other vitamins C out there. I would 100% still recommend this product to friends and family and anyone who’s going through acne or similar situation. Time is key and we just need to give the product time each skin is different. I have always had really oily skin, resulting in bumpy uneven skin and practically an oil slick on my forehead and cheeks within a few hours of cleansing and putting on makeup. But after around 1 week of using this product my skin is the smoothest and brightest it’s been, but most impressive is that there is no oil on the surface of my skin. It’s nothing short of a miracle. After 15 years of trying various budget and high end skincare I’ve never found a product that does what it says like this does. It is non greasy, light and absorbable on the skin. This is the best vitamin C product I’ve ever used. I’m really satisfied as I’m also prone to acne and this product helps calm my sensitive skin. Totally recommended to everyone! 

I have had some trouble with my skin, an oily t-zone and blackheads with blemishes on my chin area.  Having used this serum I now see what the hype is all about, it is absolutely amazing. The consistency is a little runnier than I’m used to for a serum, however, it absorbs into my skin very quickly and does not leave it feeling sticky or oily.  I have no trouble layering moisturiser and SPF on top as well as makeup. My skin is looking better than ever, it is clear, more even-toned, it doesn’t get oily throughout the day and my skin feels firmer and plumper.  I highly recommend this, it’s worth every penny!

silymarin CF serum  is in a glass bottle with a convenient pipette, thanks to which we can perfectly apply as many drops as we need.  Capacity is 15 ml.  I have combination skin, which is often oily (forehead, cheeks) and prone to acne, so this serum suits me perfectly.  I use Serum regularly in the morning, applying a few drops mainly to the facial skin where it is most problematic.  And I must admit that in my case it helps. First of all, what is important for me - it has a light formula, does not leave a sticky layer, absorbs very quickly and leaves the skin pleasantly soft.  After using it, I feel my skin is deeply moisturized and nourished.  Redness is less visible.  The skin is less oily - it is nicely mattified - and thats what i wanted . It just looks healthier.  Contains great ingredients:  - 15% pure vitamin C,  -0.5% Ferulic Acid,  -0.5% Salicylic Acid,  -0.5% Silymarin.
