Sensitised skin - wait or not?

How do you deal with when your skin reacts? Do you wait patiently for it to heal before applying anything or you have a safe product you apply to soothe the reaction? I’m a mix of both, if possible I leave my skin alone to recover on its own, other times it feels so tight and in need of protection so I put gently a neutral balm that I know should not aggravate the issue. What do you do?

I have odd skin. Sometimes it will react with a product but other times its fine hence I never know what to buy. Help?

Hi @Shifa Kan, It can be a long journey to figuring out what your skin reacts to… I would start by making a list of the ingredients that you know your skin can tolerate. I would only suggest introducing one product at a time every 4 weeks💫

Phyto Corrective Mask - thoughts?

Really interested to know what everyone’s thoughts on the phyto corrective mask are? Do you find that it gives instant relief, or is it more of a product where you see the benefits after prolonged use? I’m also super keen to know what the scent of it is like, given all the botanical ingredients!

The initial effects were positive, but in my eagerness for quicker results, I transitioned to a higher concentration too rapidly. Unfortunately, my skin reacted negatively with redness and dryness. It taught me the importance of listening to my skin and taking things slow. I had to go back to the smallest concentration, and to allow my skin to adjust more comfortably to the retinol. So, I think patience and gradual adjustments are the key to introduction of retinol in your skincare.

Gergana Nikolova I suffered from Rosacea post sudden surgical menopause at age of 48. Have found a combination of the hydrating B5 in the day & Triple LipidRestore 2:4:2 moisturiser at night has calmed it right down and is now barely noticeable without make up…having been severe 6 months ago. Hope this helps x(edited)
