My top tips for healthy skin are:
😄Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and keep your skin barrier nourished by eating a healthy balanced diet which includes eatng a rainbow of fruit and vegetables and plenty of Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids from fish oils, and foods such as oily fish, avocado and nuts and seeds.
😆Find a skin routine that suits your skin type and stick with it. Double cleanse morning and evening, followed by an exfoliating toner, facial mist/face essence, eye cream, serum and moisturiser. Every morning apply SPF 30-50 and every evening apply a facial oil as your last step. Also apply a neck cream daily and/or remember to apply everything you apply to your face to your neck also, especially SPF. Also apply hand cream and SPF to your hands daily. A face mask suited to your skin type, used once or twice a week is also very beneficial. Facial massage using your hands or a facial roller really helps these products to absorb into the skin and helps to tone your face.
😊Pay attention to the ingredients in skincare and learn what they do, so that you can purchase products which will be of most benefit to your skin type. I love to include Vitamin A/Retinol, B Vitamins (e.g. Niacinamide etc), Vitamin C and Vitamin E in my skincare, as well as Hyaluronic Acid and Squalene.
